The Rural Business School at Duchy College ran an "informal webinar" on the Challenge of Rural Leadership course on Thursday 28th January 2021.
This webinar was open to all those who have attended the CRL course in the past, those who had already applied for CRL 2022, those who had expressed an interest and anyone who had the CRL course on their radar and would like to find out more.
The speakers were all past participants of the course and include Terry Jones, Director General of NFU, Rachel Hallos, an upland tenant farmer from West Yorkshire, and Adam Bedford, North East Regional Director of NFU. Terry, Rachel and Adam shared their experiences from the course, highlighting how these skills have helped them and reflected on their role as rural leaders today. Richard Soffe, who chaired the webinar, also had input from the Master and the Chairman of Education of the Farmers' Company. A Question and Answer session followed.
